     Cast bronze lion sculptures are mainly made of brass and cast with the traditional lost-wax casting method. The bronze material is corrosion-resistant and weatherproof, hardly rusting even after long-term outdoor placement. Its surface can be treated with various coloring finishes such as antique bronze and patina, presenting a mellow and deep color with a long service life, suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. There is a wide range of standard sizes, with common heights of 1.2m, 1.6m, 1.8m, 2m and 2.2m. Extra-large sizes can be customized according to project requirements.      The whole production process of cast bronze lion sculptures is complicated and meticulous. The first step is clay sculpture creation. Sculptors make clay models according to design drawings, repeatedly adjust the lion’s posture, facial expression, mane and muscle lines to fully shape the majestic and vivid look of the male lion, and confirm the final design.

     The second step is mold making. Silicone and fiberglass outer molds are made on the outer layer of the clay sculpture. The clay body is removed to form a hollow precision mold.

     The third step is wax pattern production. Paraffin wax is poured into the mold. After cooling, the complete wax lion model is taken out, and surface defects on the wax mold are carefully repaired.

     The fourth step is shell building. Refractory quartz mortar is repeatedly brushed on the outer layer of the wax pattern, stacked layer by layer to form a hard refractory shell.

     The fifth step is dewaxing and firing. High-temperature heating melts and drains the internal paraffin, leaving a hollow refractory cavity. The sixth step is smelting and pouring. Brass is melted at high temperature, and the molten copper is poured into the refractory cavity. After cooling, the shell is broken to obtain the rough lion casting blank. 

     The seventh step is welding and polishing. All casting parts are assembled. Weld joints are polished repeatedly to erase splicing traces.

     Finally, color coating and wax sealing are carried out. Antique finishing is applied with a protective coating, and the finished sculpture is completed.

     Cast bronze lion sculptures fit a wide range of placement scenarios.
